Overview

Only considering candidates based in Canada. This is a remote position but requires travel to the Ingersoll office and other locations for onsite meetings and for customer visits/tours. 

 

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

130,000-150,000 CAD

 

 

Travel within sales territory to develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales. Monitors the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand customer's specific needs.

Responsibilities

Works under general supervision with a wide decision-making latitude. Typically reports to the Director of Sales, Manager of Sales or Divisional President. A certain degree of creativity is required. May, from time-to-time, be required to lead and train new sales representatives or assist less experienced sales representatives in closing important sales. Develops new sales leads and demonstrates to potential customers how Coilplus products can meet their needs. Overcomes obstacles and objections, ensuring continuous territorial growth. Effectively forecasts the book of business for both sales and inventory purchases. Conducts on-site sales presentations with significant potential and current customers with the goal of identifying new ways to use Coilplus products. Develops professional relationships with customers at multiple levels throughout their organizations and gains in-depth knowledge of their needs and how our products can satisfy them. Clarifies customer requirements while developing individual knowledge of products and processing capabilities. Grows existing customer business by introducing new products to existing and new customers. Maintains focus on those sales that provide the most gross profit for the company. Works with inventory/material management on specific customer needs. Educates customers by providing market-relevant information to assist them with their business decisions. Maintains quality service by adhering to policies, procedures, and standards. Contributes to the sales team’s effort by meeting or exceeding established sales, inventory management, and profit goals. Continues to develop sales skills and product knowledge through education and training as required. Maintain a clean work environment.

• 5 years of related experience

• ERP experience an asset

 

Experience & Education:

• Associate degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of demonstrated successful sales experience with at least 1 year in metal sales.

Pay Range

CAD $130,000.00 - CAD $150,000.00 /Yr.
